Week 2: Henry Horenstein
Henry Horenstein is the creator of “PARTNERS: Love Comes in Many Forms.” Using a simple style, and nuanced editing, the film presents 15 partners discussing the choices they’ve made in their mate(s). At its heart, PARTNERS is about acceptance. A gentle message that we shouldn’t judge the choices of others, even if they seem a little different—even far out—just because they aren’t the choices we might make. Although each interview presents a singular story, what make PARTNERS unique is the intimate time we spend with all the subjects, and how much so many of these widely varying relationships actually have in common. We hear their stories, laugh and cry with them, and generally agree that whatever works . . . works.
