Event Details

The most prominent narratives about immigration are often on the macro scale, focusing on the economic or social impact on communities. Opportunities to listen and reflect on the internal dualities or multiplicities that migration creates are important, and the effects and pressures of assimilation on immigrant groups are not always explored from the perspective of the migrant.

(Inter)National highlights work that examines individual or communal identity after people leave one home for another. The show seeks to uncover what is left behind, constructed, and/or gained as a result of migration.
