Ashley Provencher

April 26–May 15

Opening reception: May 10, 5:30-8:30 pm

Artists work at a variety of scales, from minuscule to beyond measure, defying scale entirely. xsXL is show of 2D and 3D works that are extra small (XS, or less than 10″) and extra large (XL, or more than 36″). We showcase small works with out-sized content and large works that aspire to overwhelm the gallery while still being contained by it. xsXL finds correlation or dialogue between the various works regardless of scale, while offering an opportunity to feature the range of recent art created by the members of the Fort Point Arts Community.

The exhibit is curated by FPAC Gallery Committee members Dorothea Van Camp and Jeffrey Heyne.

About the FPAC Gallery

The FPAC Gallery, operated by the Fort Point Arts Community, Inc. of South Boston (FPAC), is a non-profit community organization founded in 1980. The gallery is fully programmed and staffed by volunteers. FPAC’s mission is to promote the work of our artists to a broad and diverse audience; to preserve the artists community in the Fort Point Channel area; to ensure the continuance of permanent, affordable studio space; to build community; and to increase the visibility of the arts in Fort Point. Fort Point is one of New England’s largest artist communities, home to over 300 artists who produce work in a wide array of media.
