There are Baseball fans – and there are Baseball fans that make Art about Baseball. Eleven Fort Point artists are showing their baseball inspired creations at Atlantic Wharf Gallery, now through November 17th. The work includes photography, paintings, sculpture, prints, drawings, and collage.

Play Ball! includes dynamic behind the scenes photos of Fenway Park, visual musings on the baseball as an object, images of favorite Red Sox players, paintings and drawings of the ballpark, collage odes to players from baseball’s early years, an interactive sculpture, and a meticulously drawn collection of baseball ephemera.
