The works in my new series are manipulations of Edweard Muybridgeís stop-motion studies from the 1880ís. With the use of a computer, I am reapplying the sense of motion to the images Muybridge so painstakingly made to arrest the blur of movement. I am intrigued with the idea of reactivating this movement, letting time re-flow, and capturing what the original gymnast models perceived as they moved, somersaulted, spun, jumped, or galloped through space.
