I create floral art. I use flower petals, leaves, sticks, stems, and moss as elements of color, texture, shape, and form to transform a space from emptiness to one of beauty with mood, movement, and voice.

My aesthetic is influenced heavily by extensive travel in Europe and Asia. I consider it clean and modern. For me, clean and modern coexists with emotion and can be peaceful, playful, joyous or serious, but never bleak or stark.

Soon after I began designing with fresh flowers, I discovered preserved flowers. Preserved flowers can last several years and are available in striking colors not easily found in fresh flowers. Preserved flowers have enabled me to take my art beyond traditional floral arrangements to create home and office décor, wall and sculptural art, curious, greeting cards, and more.
